Skin Hydrators - Your Beauty BFF

Reading Time: 4 Minutes

It's been rumoured to be a long hot summer in New Zealand, and with the heat, extra UV exposure and use of air conditioning, our skin can easily become dehydrated. While avoiding the sun is near impossible, giving your skin a hydration boost has never been easier thanks to the array of science and nature backed skincare products on offer.

Not to be confused with moisturisers which form a barrier on skin locking in the hydration you already have, skin hydrators actively work to draw in moisture from the atmosphere and trap it in your skin, adding hydration. These products often contain glycerin or hyaluronic acid - a powerhouse skincare ingredient but there are many other super-hydrating ingredients to look out for.

If you have ever walked in store and felt overwhelmed with where to begin, we've whittled down 10 of our current favourite skin hydrators to make your life just that little bit simpler.
