Golden Goose lands in Newmarket

Continuing its expansion worldwide, Italian luxury lifestyle fashion brand Golden Goose has opened its first New Zealand store in Newmarket.

Founded in Venice in 2000 by husband and wife duo Alessandro Gallo and Francesca Rinaldo, the brand quickly rose to cult status with their first-to-market deliberately scuffed sneakers. The brand is synonymous with fashion lovers and has distinguished itself with innovative and bespoke products and a highly selective placement in venues that share the brand's philosophy.

The collection offers a complete lifestyle for it's customers, including ready to wear, accessories and footwear combining a refined and modern style with a vintage vibe.

The brand has flagship stores around the world, naming top fashion destinations such as Venice, New York, Paris, London, Milan and Amsterdam to name a few, and now, New Zealand, adding an italian spin to the luxury offering and strengthening the brand's presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

The store itself is inspired by the brand's Venetian Headquarters and Italian Heritage, using venetian wrapping paper with unique patterns to line the walls, with antiqued recovered Italian wood in a herringbone pattern running the length of the store, bringing warmth to the store and enticing you to uncover the details throughout.

Golden Goose Newmarket has a broad offering of high quality, made in Italy pieces with it's iconic lived-in signature look, but none more special than the Sneakers maker service. A celebration of the brands Venetian craftsmanship, giving customers the opportunity to engage in a one-to-one co-creation experience with the brand's artisans. Lovers of Golden Goose will be able to customise newly purchased products by unleashing their creativity, from sneakers to denim pieces, t-shirts and sweatshirts, jackets and bags, customers can select embellishments, hand drawn illustrations or a personal hand written message for a truly bespoke item.
