While we have been staying home and doing our bit to keep New Zealand safe, Deadly Ponies have been busy behind the scenes creating a brand-new space to house their repertoire in Newmarket, and it’s just a stone's throw away from their original site on Osborne Street.
Fitting of the brand’s growth over the past six years, the new Deadly Ponies store at 26 Osborne Street is a larger, more modern space which draws on contemporary elements from their Melbourne fit-out and has created space to showcase the brand’s serene new outlook. Inside you’ll find materials of oak, marble and stainless steel meshed together to provide a canvas for the collector’s items and art work, and of course the brand's coveted handbags.
Founder and Creative Director Liam Bowden wanted to ensure the “traditional elements synonymous with the Deadly Ponies experience” were reflected in the design, while “experimenting” with new, architectural concepts and designs.
The new store will be home to the latest Deadly Ponies unisex Voyage collection, a first in the Newmarket store, alongside a wide offering from the brand’s iconic range.
