Bowl & Arrow's Black Forest Porridge.

Super nourishing and heart-warming, this bowl of yumminess will keep you going all morning long. Bowl & Arrow have collaborated with Ceres Organics to create a delectable winter warmer, perfect for cold mornings. Their Black Forest Porridge is jam-packed with easy superfoods which are hormone-balancing, blood sugar balancing and quick to prepare.

This mix can be served either hot or cold, so even if it’s usually a mad dash out the door, you can whip this up the night before and have it ready to go. 

Follow the recipe below so you can have this tasty treat all winter long. 

RECIPE

  • 1 tsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ashwagandha
  • 1/2 cup quick cook rolled oats
  • 1 tsp LSA + P
  • 1 tsp chia seed
  • 3 pitted dates, chopped roughly
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (if you would like the added sweetness)
  • 1/2 cup almond or oat milk

TOPPINGS

  • Frozen berries
  • Blueberry Cashew Gluten Free Muesli
  • Coconut Yogurt
  • Cashew Coconut Butter

METHOD

  1. In a bowl, add all dry ingredients and stir to combine.
  2. Add milk and maple, and mix well. Leave for at least 10 mins to soak, ideally overnight.
  3. When ready to serve, heat in the microwave or on a stovetop, or leave as is for a cold overnight oats option.
  4. Top with fresh or frozen berries, a sprinkle of muesli, coconut yoghurt, cashew coconut butter, and an extra drizzle of maple syrup if you have a sweet tooth!
