Città welcomes the sun drenched days, balmy evenings and the simple pace of life that Spring and Summer bring, with their latest collection Sunday Afternoon.
If we have all learnt one thing this year, it is the art of living life in its simplest form can often bring us the most joy, which has also been the main design inspiration behind Città’s warming new range.
Città's Head of Textile Design Imogen Tunnicliffe says the collection has “focused strongly on the use of natural materials and traditional weaving techniques to celebrate craftsmanship”. These natural materials include the homeware brand’s recent introduction to jute and hemp, both incredibly efficient sources of renewable material, adding to their existing natural textile lineup.
The prints within the Sunday Afternoon range were illustrated inhouse by Città’s textile team in Auckland, featuring garden flowers, sculptural forms and scenes inspired by daily life. The signature Sunday design was inspired by a weekend walk through the bush with the pattern hiding familiar creatures throughout.
From laid back bedding, handcrafted ceramics and a new range of waffle towels and robes, Sunday Afternoon can be dotted around the whole house to bring a sense of simplicity and beauty this season.
The SS21 collection is available to shop now at Città Newmarket.
