Workshop | Cheese Making Course – Brie with The New Zealand Cheese School | Sunday 21st August

The New Zealand Cheese School is coming to Auckland to work with Collected, and in this 4 hour workshop you will learn to make beautiful double cream Brie with our countries leading cheese artisans.

Start your day off with a meet and greet, followed by getting stuck in and making your very own cheese. In this workshop you will follow the guidance of the Master Cheesemaker and make delicious double cream brie, from adding starter to the prewarmed milk, adding the rennet, cutting the curd, stirring the curds, hooping and turning, with instructions on how to finish off your cheese at home.

After which we have the turning process, during this process you have some free time where you will be shown how Ricotta is made and also get to taste some yummy Yoghurt and Mascarpone.

These workshops are suited to anyone, including those without any experience, through to an experienced home cheesemaker. They are a fun way to learn to make cheese at home, or hone your existing skills.

Time: 1.00pm – 5pm approximately

Location: Collected by LeeAnn Yare. 2 Clayton Street, Newmarket. Just off Carlton Gore Road, with dedicated Collected customer parking right next door, or pay and display parking on the surrounding main roads.
