Summer is upon us and that means more sunshine and a little reprieve from being indoors or at the desk! So, whether you want to fill in some time or quench your thirst, get involved in some of the fun activities taking place around the precinct.

Nuffield Street Summer Lounge

Visit Nuffield Street each weekend in the lead-up to Christmas, where carparks outside Cali All Day Eatery, Caffe Massimo and Tasca are being transformed into an outdoor lounge. You’re invited to take some time out to enjoy a range of musical performances and on-street activities.

Burger Burger Jazzy Hour


Burger Burger’s highly anticipated summer Jazzy Hour is back and better than ever! To celebrate the warmer months, Jazzy Hour is their answer to happy hour with different wine, beer and cocktail specials happening every week.

12. Smokin’ Kombucha Tea

New Zealand’s first ever Soda Counter, at Corner Burger

To kick off the Summer months, Corner Burger will be hosting New Zealand’s first ever Soda Counter brought to you by SodaStream and Soda Press Co. Pull up a stool and watch a nostalgic-inspired cocktail get whipped up with flair in front of you by a Soda Jerk – the liveliest bartenders in town. The cocktails, including the Smokin’ Kombucha Tea, Flamin’ Ramos Gin & Tonic Fizz, Creamin’ Cola Rum Jerk Spider and Bubblin’ Raspberry Old Fashioned Lemonade, have been cleverly crafted by award-winning bartender, Barney Toy. The pop-up is a modern take on the counters that were found on almost every New York Corner in the 1920s and will be open for two days on the rooftop at Westfield Newmarket.

Wednesday 4th December – 11.30am – 2:30pm and 5:30pm – 8:30pm

Thursday 5th December – 11.30am – 2:30pm and 5:30pm – 8:30pm


Westfield’s Light Box

Experience the full immersion of Westfield’s Light Box up until the beginning of January. The installation is a unique multi-sensory environment filled with wonder and illusions. Suitable for all ages and can be found on Level 1, near Sandro Paris.

Aperitivo’s with L’Americano

There’s nothing quite like tucking into a cheeseboard and a spritz while the sun is out, and the evenings are getting longer. To celebrate, L’Americano are offering up complimentary appetizers with any Aperol Spritz, Prosecco or Peroni from 5pm until 7pm during the week. La dolce vita!
