Working remotely is on the rise and it’s no doubt that the best way to do this is with a coffee by your side. Whether you’re in the world of freelance or simply wanting to escape the office desk, sometimes the best thing to do is get out and about into a laptop friendly space to power through those work deadlines. We have done a little digging to take the hard work out of scheduling your next out-of-office meeting, whether you are spending time with a client or wanting to chat with colleagues over a flat white, here are our favourite spots in Newmarket, equipped with free Wi-Fi and great coffee and food.

Carlton Gore Road

Mutual Friends Espresso is at the top of our list as one of the best spots to set up a remote office for the day. Within the space, you will find QB Studios sleek shared space, located in Newmarket’s corporate hub offering businesses or individuals access to long term and short-term offices and boardrooms. Fully equipped with an in-house espresso bar, it is the perfect spot for a quick lunch-time meeting or even a morning of ‘white space’. This is an innovative space, designed to inspire, motivate and enable like-minded individuals to work both independently and collaboratively.

Carlton Gore Cafe is a regular haunt for the corporate sector of Newmarket, with plenty of space to set up meetings, Wi-Fi, and it’s convenient location, it is no wonder this cafe is always bustling.

Teed Street

It is a well-known fact that Bambina is one of Newmarket’s most popular brunch spots, but it is also a great place to visit if you are in need of a few hours out of the office to work. Coffee, delicious food, free Wi-Fi and located on Teed Street, Bambina is a great spot to go through your overdue emails or to plan out the week ahead.

Whether you are holding an interview or having a casual client catch-up, Teed Street Larder is another one to add to the list of Newmarket’s best remote offices. Located in the bustling heart of the precinct, this cafe is frequented by many amongst Newmarket’s corporate population. An easy place to set up your laptop and enjoy one of their famous brioches whilst getting your spreadsheets in order.

Nuffield Street

When it comes to scheduling a client meeting, ensuring that you have plenty of room to spread out and work in a place that isn’t too noisy is particularly important. Spacious and open, Tasca is the ideal spot for a meeting. Located on Nuffield Street, Tasca is a go-to for remote working or business catch-ups. If your best work is done with a glass of vino in hand, Tasca also have a great wine menu to match.

For somewhere a bit cosier accompanied with a tasty menu, The Reaper by Anastasia is the place to be. With "coffee to wake the dead" and a cabinet of goodies, you're bound to get through your work to-do list with ease.

Morrow Street

If you’re looking for a vibrant and open plan spot, Daily Bread is ideally located inside the super trendy retail space that is Città. If you’re looking for an inspiring space for maximum productivity, plus delicious freshly baked goods, Daily Bread is the spot for you. If you are pressed for time between back to back meetings, we recommend grabbing a quick bite to eat from their cabinet. So, grab a freshly brewed cup of coffee, take a seat by the huge window and get your work on.

Melrose Street

When it comes to ideas and innovation, L’affare is hard pressed for competition. Their cafe on Melrose Street poses a lofty, architecturally inspired space that is sure to provide a great space to work from to get those creative ideas flowing. If you are at your most productive in the early hours, L’affare (opening at 7am on week days) is a welcome spot for those wanting a morning caffeine dose whilst smashing through those work goals.
