Specsavers are running a nationwide competition to raise money for the Fred Hollows Foundation NZ. Working to end avoidable blindness in the Pacific, the Specsavers #LoveGlasses competition invites you to help them raise money by sharing a selfie.  For every selfie shared using the #LoveGlasses hashtag, they'll donate $1 to the Fred Hollows Foundation.

Newmarket local Mia MacDonald has been selected as a finalist in the competition for her chic specs selfie and says "My glasses add a sense of sophistication and personality, unlike any other accessory. I’d describe my specs style as elegant, vintage and wide-eyed. I could definitely use a wardrobe refresher as I can’t get enough of wearing my glasses."  Mia is in the draw to win a year's worth of designer frames and a $1000 designer shopping spree.

The competition is still open so you can be in to win too! Simply post a spec selfie to social media, either on the Specsavers New Zealand Facebook page, or on Instagram using the #LoveGlasses hashtag and tagging @SpecsaversNewZealand.  You'll also be in the draw to win a year's supply of designer frames and a $1,000 designer wardrobe so get selfieing!
