Lockdown is challenging - even more so for those with kids in the house. We've put together some boredom busting activities to keep the juniors busy and having fun. Hang in there everyone!

Arts and crafts

LEGO but without the pack up. This online design tool for kids is the perfect creative outlet where kids can create their own virtual LEGO bracelets or blocks and download them for free. There's a heap of other fun and interactive activities on the site if this one doesn't appeal. Anything without a mess is good at this stage! Design with LEGO here.

Countdown have thought of it all with a kids activity portal including easy origami templates, crosswords, drawing how-to’s and so much more! Create with Countdown here.

And one for the more senior kids or even for mum/dad – Drapers Fabrics have shared a 3D Face Mask Pattern so you can sew your own masks at home! Grab any piece of fabric you have lying around the house and test your stitching skills. Sew with Drapers Fabrics here.

The Auckland Museum has online jigsaw puzzles which take a closer look at some of their collection object and even of the Museum building itself. Adjust the difficulty of each puzzlers to suit your kids age, skill or time constraint. Have a go here.
