Kathryn Wilson brings the nineties back this Autumn/Winter

Reading Time: 2 Minutes

Kathryn Wilson has answered all the footwear needs for the fashionable, modern woman this winter. The footwear designer’s latest collection breathes life into our working wardrobes by giving an updated look to some of the brand’s most loved staple styles, adding textured details and luxury fabrications.

We see bold red as the hero colourway in this collection alongside both royal and mulled wine hues, the perfect palette for the winter months. Wilson pairs the bold colour-ways with metallic and enamel studded details to finish off any bold look.

Autumn / Winter 2019 sees an array of animal prints and faux skins making a strong appearance in footwear trends. Within the collection, a classic neutral palette sits alongside more textural styles drawing inspiration from the 90’s, introducing western ankle boots and sling back styles in a range of leopard prints and python. With a variety of heel heights and styles, we are loving the kitten heel style for a versatile everyday look.

The sneaker trend is still alive and well with Wilson’s iconic lightweight styles for a more pared back look for women on the go, easily paired with a sleek suit or casual denim for any day of the week.

Kathryn Wilson’s in house sister label, Miss Wilson offers a playful take on the winter season. With a style and texture for every occasion - coloured suedes, pink glitter and coloured animal prints are sure to spice up your look in the colder months. In true Miss Wilson style there is a play on the trending western boot silhouette with the Lulu Boot, mixing buttery velvet with bejewelled studs. A rouched upper creates a perfect pairing with a flowing dress for an easy day to evening look. Heart shaped zips and gold domes add a touch of glam, whether you’re in the office or heading to girls’ night drinks.
