Easter is almost upon us, and although our original long weekend plans may be cancelled, there are plenty of ways to celebrate and keep yourself and the kids entertained from home. We have rounded up a few of our favourite Easter recipes, along with some fun kids crafts and activities for you to add to your Easter itinerary!

Hot Cross Buns

Fill the house with the smell of freshly baked hot cross buns with Little & Friday’s crowd-pleasing recipe. Make sure you set a bit of time aside in the morning and work up a good appetite as you’ll be going back for seconds (and thirds) they are that tasty!

Homemade Easter Eggs

Hop into the kitchen with the kids and make your own Easter eggs - Whittaker's have shared a fun recipe to try at home which only require 2 ingredients; real eggs and chocolate. Find it here.

Once they have set, grab some paint and decorate the shells!

Easter Colouring Competition

Daily Bread are running an Easter colouring in competition for kids! To enter simply pick up the drawing from any Daily Bread store, colour it in, fill in your details and pop it into a drop-box in one of the bakeries. Each week, Daily Bread will pick their five favourite entries to win a box of sourdough hot cross buns!
