Deuce and Storm put their best foot forward with new sneaker collaboration

Reading Time: 2 Minutes

Deuce Sneakers and Storm clothing have teamed up to launch an exclusive 3-piece range of sneakers.

The two New Zealand owned and operated brands shared the same values and design ethos and creating a footwear collaboration together was a natural progression for them.

Vulcanized leather sneakers with modern, double height soles and quintessential Storm details like studs and cosmic icons. The third style is the inclusion of a chunky sneaker with metallic trim, a trend showing no sign of slowing down both internationally and on our on shores. With Storm’s signature aesthetic, and Deuce Sneakers’ superior design and comfort, it was a perfect match for Storm and Deuce customers alike.

“We wanted to capture the ‘modern rock and roll’ edge of the Storm brand, in shoes that would appeal to both Deuce and Storm customers. We believe many New Zealand women feel strongly about supporting home grown NZ brands and will shop in Storm for their apparel and Merchant 1948 for their footwear, it felt like the perfect pairing” says Director/Head of Design, Louise Anselmi.

Wholly designed in-house between the two brands and produced by Merchant 1948’s craftsmen in their own purpose-built factory, the shoes have been a true collaboration from start to finish.

The collaboration is the perfect amalgamation of no fuss attitude and a sleek silhouette. Storm’s clear aesthetic of wings, studs, and animal print resonate across the sneakers, embracing sartorial edge for Deuce Sneakers’ typically paired-back and playful design.

Available at Deuce Sneakers and Storm, both located on Teed Street.
