Davis Crescent Upgrade Construction 2024

Work is beginning on Davis Crescent today to widen the footpath on the western side and install a pedestrian crossing across Short Street near Lumsden Green.  Construction is expected to take six weeks and the project will be delivered in stages to minimise disruption for businesses and impacts on car parking. Please note that the dates for these stages are subject to change.

Stage 1: 29 April – 12 May 2024

• On-street parking will be available on both sides of Davis Crescent
• Some on-street parking will be temporarily removed on Short Street 

Stage 2: 13 May – 28 May 2024

• On-street parking will not be available on both sides of Davis Crescent. 
• On-street parking will be available on both sides of Short Street

Stage 3: 29 May – 10 June 2024

• Some on-street parking will be temporarily removed on Davis Cresent and Short Street, but most will remain. 

Traffic will continue to travel in both directions during the project. Please note that on-street parking on Kingdon Street, Carlton Gore Road, and in front of Urbano Interiors will not be impacted.
