Off the back of another successful year, the ASB Classic is returning in 2018 between the 1-13 January and is set to be one of the most sought-after summer destinations. With one of its strongest player line-ups yet, Caroline Wozniacki, Agnieszka Radwańska and Victoria Azarenka are set to grace the courts as well as some stellar Men’s players including returning champions Jack Sock, John Isner and Roberto Bautista-Agut.
Alongside the on-court action, the tournaments’ entertainment hub, The Servc will expand in size by 80% with a larger interactive Fan Zone. The new space will extend even further into the Auckland Domain to offer a mix of grassed and platformed areas where fans can relax, listen to live entertainment acts, and enjoy tennis on the big screen with commentary. Performances by some of New Zealand’s top artists including Boh Runga, White Chapel, and Taye Williams will keep the crowds entertained in the sun.
The ASB Classic will bring yet again offer a delicious array of food in partnership with SKYCITY, with iconic chefs Peter Gordon and Sean Connolly bringing some of their favourite dishes to keep the crowd fuelled.
Alongside this exciting mix of entertainment, The ASB Garden Lunch, which will take place on Friday January 5 in collaboration with Kathryn Wilson and Boh Runga, with a 3 course lunch, a performance by Boh, followed by an intimate Q&A with Boh and Kathryn.
