A Night in Newmarket

Reading Time: 2 Minutes

Make the most of the culinary choices Newmarket has on offer with a night full of wining and dining.

Apertivo | Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq

Kicking the night off with a pre-dinner tipple is essential, and we can’t think of a better place for this than Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq. This extravagant circus themed space is filled with the nostalgic sounds of gaming machines, buttery popcorn and flashing lights from the impressive number of arcade games. While you let your inner child roam the room, we suggest you also hit the bar for a beverage, from candy-laden cocktails to classic carnival themed drinks, you’ll find it difficult to stop at just one.

Our Pick -  A classic espresso martini with a hint of vanilla served with a mini magnum ice cream.

The Main Event | Khao San Eatery

Situated on the bustling Davis Crescent, one step inside Khao San Eatery and you will be immersed into a cultural experience with murals and neon lights to replicate the nightlife of Thailand. Think Thai food with a twist – the menu boasting tapas, rice and noodle dishes, fresh seafood, large plates and the most divine selection of cocktails.

Our Pick - A rich well-seasoned Massaman curry with a tender 12 hour slow-cooked lamb shank.

Dessert | Duck Island Ice Cream

It wouldn’t be a night in Newmarket without finishing it all off with a visit to Duck Island’s scoop shop. Nestled in amongst the cobbled streets of Osborne Lane, this place is what dreams are made of, with 24 of the quirkiest yet tastiest ice-cream flavours we’ve had the pleasure of consuming. While a scoop of ice-cream may satisfy, the menu includes sundaes, milkshakes, floats, and even ice cream sandwiches!

Our Pick - The Popcorn Sundae with white chocolate and vanilla bean ice cream topped with salty caramel sauce, caramelised popcorn and whipped cream... roll us home!
